I'm worried that you do. However, the date of the announcement makes me feel we still have a good chance as well.
EDIT: One thing that the guys at 247 pointed out about Richmond is that he's not shutting things down after he commits. So whoever gets him is going to have to fight to keep him. And whoever gets left out will still have a chance to land him coming signing day.

Yes we will. And even though his recruitment won't be done by any means, I believe we hang on due to the Laremy Tunsil effect on Richmond as well as him wanting to stay closer to home. Also, I truly think we end up with Patterson (near lock), Tony Bridges (see Patterson), Leo Lewis (75%), Alex Givens (90%), and Fletcher Adams (55%). That's a Top 20 class and more than likely Top 15. Freeze will get it done.

I know. I don't understand that either. Maybe the 247 guys are wrong but they made it sound like this was a pre-commitment commitment. Could be just a matter of them keeping us all on edge and hanging on everything they write - gotta sell those subs.

They're hedging for multiple reasons. Classic pay site stuff. I said it a few months ago on y'all's board and will reiterate it here; he's not the type to squelch

Jones had strategic announcements/commits all through last season. Last year it was lose a game? No worries here's a big commit. He also has them commit on days that are important to them. So with an early commit like this just before a big game against OU I could see this being a little extra boost to take into Norman.
BUT most of what I've seen/heard lately is that OM has been strong with him lately. Y'all are closing well. So that's why it wouldn't surprise me at all to hear that he's yours.
