Is the home side flipped in this picture? Why is the logo facing towards where the usual visitors sideline is?

At least when we play MSU. I'd rather not listen to that crap during the other games.

Well the FedEx building is getting an addition/renovation. LINK

The company recently donated $2.5 million to the Ole Miss Department of Intercollegiate Athletics to enhance the existing FedEx Student-Athlete Success Center. In addition to the FedEx gift, an anonymous donor has contributed $2.5 million, for a total of $5 million to support the center.
“We are extremely grateful for these major gifts, which will enable us to construct additional one-on-one tutoring rooms, small-group and large-group tutoring rooms, and counselor and student lounges within the FedEx Center,” said Ross Bjork, UM director of athletics.

With the right architect, we can build on top of the FedEx Center and make it look good whenever the decision is made to add suites in the north end zone.

Rewatched the Bjork press conference announcing the renovations from last December. He said they designed it so that if they wanted to one day match the SEZ look, they could.

This is actually what I've been hoping for. They could still match the SEZ and incorporate those buildings, it would be very unique. Not many stadiums are also used as academic buildings.

Looks like they're doing another cement pour outside of the Pavilion

I don't think that the building could exist unless they completely rebuilt it. A rough measure based on the field to south end zone compared to the view of the north end zone shows how far out the stadium would come. There would be no concourse at all. They would have to chop off the back half of the Starnes building.

Hell we are just barely fitting the half arse design we are going with. No way that building can still be there if we ever want to match the SEZ

Stadium expansion planning continues to suck. Started w/ Boone, continued w/ Bjork.

Boone was actually pretty good at Stadium Expansion projects under Boone we had the SEZ completed, he renovated the baseball stadium very well, and his original plan for the NEZ was the best.

That'd be one expensive son of a bitch tho.
I think Bjork is going with a more Big House feel. Stadiums that go out and not up.

Wrong, that was Schaeffer, not Boone.
This is what was proposed under Boone. Don't forget that.

Idk how any NEZ further expansion is being done with FedEx so close to the stadium or even how we are doing it now for that matter.

It's not like the SEZ is a solid block of concrete, it's mostly hollow other than the support pillars. I feel like it would be possible to build it above and around some of that
