We lost this game because of the Cooley fumbling. We were about to go up 38-7

Easy to say now, but definitely would seem like the turning point.

You don't know this

Also, there were so many other failings that you can't just Blame Cooley, because lol, Matt Luke and everyone else on the team sucks.

Yeah, I wouldn't really call it blaming Cooley. That certainly seemed like a turning point. Of course it wasn't intentional and he had just made a good run and catch but sometime things happen that seem to turn things around and that seemed to be it. They way he was toting the ball and looking over his left shoulder while a defender was coming from his right sure looked like trouble though. Damn it.

What are the odds Shea transfers? I say 50/50.

Ta'amu + a new coach...

Better times are ahead.

Yeah, 50/50 is probably fair. I would hate to lose Shea, but not nearly as much as I would have before seeing Ta'amu play. It's just not much of a drop off. In fact he's a better runner. He may not scramble as well. We flat fell arse backwards into a very good backup, now starter. And this feeling Ta'amu has generated in most of us, might even make it easier for Shea to leave if that makes sense.

As for the better days ahead, the defense has got to get so much better it's almost tough to put into words for there to be better days. I almost find it impossible to believe how we've gotten so bad over there.

Ta’amu is no where near as accurate as Shea. The very first long pass to Lodge would have been a TD had Shea thrown that ball. If Shea could learn to check down like Ta’amu then he will be fine.

On different note: the rumors of how LL did at the COI meeting are not internet fodder.

Nothing will happen. We will get a 2 year bowl ban and be fricked for the next 5 years while state overtakes us.

There have been 13 Popes named Leo.

Shea would have overthrown Lodge on his first catch.
