I did...and we are....if they actually run the offense.

You mean the "everyone run around and get open or set screens for Marshall" offense?

I don't see how you can possibly argue that this isn't the offensive game plan Kennedy has. Let everyone play one on one street ball and have Marshall chuck threes

I agree that what you saw yesterday was not an offensive game plan AK had in mind.

So am I the only person that hopes Bjork hires the best guy for the job ? And I don't believe that person is Michael White.

I am. Idk if Michael White is the best guy for the job or not. He's the only legitimate guy mentioned I would consider hiring thus far though.

Agree Reggie..Sounds like White has a little bit of Nolan Richardson in him vs x's and o's which is fine at La. Tech but I'm skeptical of long term success. Of course if he got us into the dance once it would be an improvement.

I've been torn. Spirit-tards are all over him because he's a short, white guy who has been to Ole Miss and is doing extraordinary at LaTech. I just can't say I'm totally sold on him yet.

But if MSU can't even get a half-assed proven HC, then someone like Michael White could be the perfect hire for us until we build a better national brand and reputation.

My take is we should at least give him a reasonable look. But don't automatically make him the front-runner.

I think Kermit Davis Jr. should be in the discussion as well ... he's the head coach for MTSU

That's who I wanted to hire last year when I wanted Kennedy fired.

He's a State alum and turned them down last year.

Honestly Michael White would be a home run hire. It would essentially be a lateral move for him and the guy probably has his sights set much higher.

Are you talking about Kermit or Michael here

Michael. And I can't say it's exactly a lateral hire but very likely closer than you think.

Ya I meant it would be a lateral move for White based on history. I guess you could say the same thing for Kermit at MTSU. That said, the ceiling on OM basketball with Bjork at the helm will be much, much higher.

I just think the OM job is going to look like a tombstone for any up-and-comer unless they really buy what Ross is selling. You know the headlines will read 'OM Fires All Time Winningest Coach' when that axe finally does fall. That alone will deter almost anyone with real potential.
