What if Akers is Saban's Landmass triple agent? Trolls us and Moo U, but eventually winds up in crimson.
Who are the kids in MS most likely to go from like a 2-3 star to a 5 star? They're the next Chris Jones or Simmons. It works for Muffin because he's already recruiting 2-3*'s as it is. Also, when do y'all think we'll find out about potential position switches (to LB)? Before fall camp?

Akers and Chandler are perfect for us... Chandler has more speed but Akers is right on the borderline with breakaway speed, but packs on a lot more mass (seems to have better vision as well)
I wish we could be in Bamas shoes with Najee... That dude is an absolute freak and should be ranked higher than Moses IMO

Najee is otherworldly.
We're offering nearly every LB in this class.

Najee is great, but he's going to USC. The fact that he is a bama lean right now should help us with Akers.

Avery and Akers took an unofficial visit to Ole Miss this weekend!

Avery doesn't look like he wants to be there. Mullen has officially gotten to him

he looks like he was having a pretty good time to me.
at least not a bad time...
Weve got a better shot with him than willie gay.

I just hope he's not bitter about his brother being shunned.

Bitter or not, they can be teammates at OM next year.

So is there still any truth to all this talk about a big commitment this week?
Posted on 2/7/16 at 9:17 am to TampaReb
Where have you heard that? If there was...it's Akers.

Thought I read it on here and the podcast with Neal and them. Akers is who I thought it was. He did unofficial this weekend so hopefully this week. If he commits would be huge by its self but throw in his cousin we might be able to lock up Avery.

Avery is a good ball player that plays on a ton of instinct and athleticism. Love the way he hits and would like to see him in our system getting to work on the fundamentals.
Avery's HUDL
Imagine him paired with DTrain....straight nasty

Neal said give it a month on Akers.
Wonder if it's Higgins?

Higgins is going to Clemson I believe. I would think we would get Avery. His brother is going to transfer even if he has to pay his way for a year. I think they both could be starting for us in 2 years. Genard will be a solid linebacker and cj would be a perfect replacement for tony.
