I'm guessing Saban tried to lock him down on his in-home. We missed out on Gavin yesterday and Simmons ended up taking the trip to Miami against our coach's wishes.

Maybe the Tony Connor recruitment taught our coaches not to put all their eggs in the Mississippi basket.

Saban's had to do a lot of work this recruiting cycle. Warms my heart.

I know for a fact our staff feels good about AJ.....Me... I will believe it when I see it.

BOL says we still feel good about AJ FWIW.

Y'all have a solid receiving class already, so you're in a better position to take a chance on AJ. We have one EE who's more of a possession guy and our other WR commit is still taking visits. We might put Trevon Diggs at WR if we completely strike out in this class.

Yes he has. Especially with Smart leaving for UGA.

THe big attraction for Ole Miss is being a receiver and knowing what is about to come from our offense. Why wouldn't you want to come to Ole Miss. Let me say this....this would not be an issue at all if the kid did not live in Starkville. Because he does....it will be difficult for us. That is how I see it.

Despite that....our coaches feel really good about him. Take it for what it is worth. I don't doubt they feel good about him....it's the dynamics that I question...not that Bama is in the game. He may end up at Bama.......Starkville or Oxford. We will find out in a few days.

Especially with another year of Swag. And, in general, y'all don't run the ball near as much which equates to more targets for the WRs.

Alabama's offense could be dynamic (with Barnett) or conservative (with Bateman).

I think a sucky in-state class has had a lot to do with that. Beyond the top four players in Alabama, there's not much else there.

It's ALWAYS going to have a conservative tone to it because who coaches it. WHen things don't go well.....what Bama going to do. I am not hating BTW. We feature recievers more than Bama. Again.... I understand who just won the NC

That is why Alabama will always snag the 5* running backs. We don't feature our running backs as much.

But damn, Swinney and Pennamon playing RB with Shea at QB with our WR's.

Judd and Wilkins leading the way for the frosh guys. Our offensive is gonna be deadly.

It really depends. If we can run on a team, then we will run on that team. If we can't, then things open up a lot more in the passing game.

If given a choice between a QB throwing for over 300 yards in a game or a running back rushing for over 200 yards, our coaches would probably take the latter where yours would take the former.

Confidence on our side seems to be waning per TiderInsider ("insiders" website) for AJ Brown.

Congrats, Rebs.

I was hoping for a pic of Cooley with AJ, Kobe, and Simmons.

Dear diary,

Today I was driving through the square with a truck bed full of wool. I saw Pennamon & co. and honked at them, the sorostitutes all waved. He proceeded to laugh and throw up the fin.

Today was a good day.
