If I was him I would go to Cal. Good education. Decent football team. Live in California for a few years.

That's been 4 months ago... :-(

But a hell of a game to see. I'm assuming they were on the sidelines for that game?

They sit in a designated section for recruits during the game, but get to be on the field during warm-ups

A decent kicker would have added about 10 wins to David Cutcliffe's and Tommy Tubberville's tenures at Ole Miss. The kicker woes followed Tubbs to Auburn. He didn't believe in "wasting" scholarships on kickers. Well, that logic doesn't make a lot of sense when your kicker is shanking extra points off the goal posts.

Teams have the feeling they are good with a cruit, so they focus all available resources elsewhere and don't freak out and shite. Neal's dumb arse finds out we flipped a kid and he has to go blabbing so everyone says he is the shite. Well then the team that was all good is like oh hell no! They threaten bribe beg borrow and steal to keep the kid. Neal's dumb arse cost us Chris Jones. That's what.

Never heard this story until now.
But so many things I hear on rebel grove make sense now.
The limited media at practices.
And how Neal says he could do his job without ever going to practices.

And I thought it was yancy that caused this riff between staff and players..

Maybe there were transgressions from multiple people. Leading to the non contact from freeze. Personally I'm glad limit what the outside knows and Croot like we have been.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah I thought it was yancy?
Never the less the cat was let out of the bag.
And his text messages with freeze for so long make sense.

He wanted to be here.

Guess we need to give up on all the Starkville guys or keep it under wraps.

We aren't getting

K. Jones
Aj Brown
J Simmons

The last two highly rated players that came from Noxubee Cpunty signed with Ole Miss. I wouldn't call that a Maroon Stronghold

Yancy's info is literally approved by his insider prior to publication. There have been other instances where Neal lead with info that Yancy sat on because it was not approved by his insider for release. Neal wouldn't sit on info because he is not a fan and doesn't give two shites about Ole Miss, only getting the scoop. Neal is a better reporter in that sense. Yancy is so limited by what he can say because he is better connected but it comes at a price.
