He was a big time recruit w/ a Penn State offer and commitment until his h.s. had a big hazing scandal. Apparently, some of the players were holding down freshman and simulating finger penetration through pants and their program got shut down. Penn State revoked his offer; makes sense that they wouldn't want any type of controversy considering their background. Kid was a minor so his participation level in the hazing is unknown as the records are sealed. I would imagine our staff did their own investigation and felt comfortable w/ his involvement and/or character. Bottom line is he is a potential steal and potentially our most underrated recruit. There is 0% evidence that he stuck his thumb in someone's butthole, but you never really know. I have my doubts about some of the posters on this board.

What are you talking about we have a real opportunity to land both of them!?! I am sure we have more than enough resources to recruit both of them without it effecting either decision.

I was involved in athletics throughout high school and never once did anyone recommend we hold a kid down and penetrate him. So strange.

Yeah, I'm guessing if our coaches are trying so hard to flip that FSU cornerback commit, they must believe Shyheim Carter is going to Bama. I have no information on that at all, just a thought.
