@LSUBeatTweet
Upon further review, LSU grad asst Sean Patterson, older bro of No. 1 QB '16 class Shea Patterson of Shreveport, may be on way to Ole Miss.
12:22pm - 7 Feb 15
-More confirmation from Glenn Guilbeau an LSU beat reporter

After spending the weekend over here I can say there is actually much more to his recruitment than just potentially hiring his brother. The 2 players for his services are USCw & Ole Miss but Ole Miss is the definitive leader.

What was i supposed to find there? That the Wr coach played under Dan Werner as well? Or was there more than that?

Very cool. I'm about to graduate from ch eng so I deal with a bunch of design projects that produce those type of materials

That and a couple others on the staff (and the WR coach is also the defacto QB coach since that is what he played at LaTech). There is still a very strong connection there (their words not mine)

What are your plans for after school? I know we have an absurd amount of MSU grads at Dow. You looking to move south or have job opportunities in the area?

I'm actually pre med also, so I'll be in med school in Jackson starting in August! I think ole miss has a hookup with Exxon, Halliburton, and I can't think of the other companies. I know I have a couple buddies going to work for the two I listed. I don't know of any interviewing at Dow though

We have very few Rebel engineers that I know of. We had one in my unit but he left to head to the Dow site in New Orleans.
Good luck in med school. That's way more school than I could handle. I was over it after my 2 years at BRCC for PTEC!

Anyone heard if Shea made it to the prestigious LSU In-state Junior Day?

Word on LSU board was that he would not. I can't confirm that news though.
