I'm hearing we have a really good chance of landing 4* 2017 LB Willie Gay, says he will announce after this season is over.

In the DM today Judd talks about playing in the pistol formation and he credits the formation saying he can see both sides of the defense better which allows him to see the entire field and run north-south better. He also says he ran the pistol back in JuCo, too so that experience helps.
We are averaging 7.6 yards per carry in the pistol.

I still think Cam Akers is the best player in MS for 2017 though, although I doubt he comes to OM.

I think the landscape could change a lot within the state if we win in Starkville, especially if we land a Willie or another Starkville player. Could be my optimistic bias but if we were able to recruit the way we did with state winning 4 out of 5 and 5 out of 7, with the roles reversed, I can't see what they could sell
