That's true. He's got money to blow and is a HOFer so why make the quality of the rest of your life worse than need be.

It's hard to give up for everyone. When a sport is your life all day and every day, it is how you identify yourself and value your own worth. A lot of guys are scared to go away from that because they don't know anything else.

Didn't some school get some heat because a former player was on the sidelines at a HS game and was considered to be an active recruiter? Maybe I'm way off here though

No clue. But Donte actually recruits players. Then Jonathan Banks usually comes in afterwards and tries to croot for State.
