So our guys didn't give it their all because we thought Florida had the flu? Come on.

I'm convinced that flu story was a boldfaced lie, and our guys fell for it hook line and sinker.

Freeze said Conner will try and run this week.

Oh man Oh man Oh man I hope his rehab is going better than they're letting on.

Also said CK10 comes to the sideline after his mistakes knowing exactly what he did wrong and what he needs to fix. This is still Kelly learning, IMO. He wants to force throws he could make in JUCO. He seems much more stable and level-headed than Bo to me.

I really like Kelly. I think next year he will be outstanding, hopefully we can get a decent Oline to protect him.

I have no clue who's going to play either tackle position next year and that scares me.

Ideally Little, but I'm starting to doubt that.

I hear this argument on the Rebel Grove Podcast every week and I don’t understand it. For the majority of the year our starting OL has been…
Cooper, Patterson, Conyers, Taylor, Rawlins. 4 out of those 5 return. We all know we are bringing in a juco, we all know we have a 50/50 shot at the next Tunsil, and we all know that if we don’t land him we are bringing in a couple jucos. Alex Givens from all accounts should be at worst what Rawlins is this year, next year. Christian Morris is another body that at least has potential. You return your backup guard in Sims and the 5th guard and stronger OL in Bouldin to make up your two deep at guards. Will we be stacked at the OL? Probably not, but we will be better than what we had the first 7 games this year and could possibly have the best guard to guard play ever under Freeze. I know the question was “who plays tackle, understanding that we will bring in two jucos if we don’t land Little and one if we do, should paint the picture of our two deep there next year.

Who is "they"? I've heard very little from official OM types but a lot of message board rumor.

I feel like we will be elite from guard to guard with Patterson, Conyers, and Taylor, but I was questioning the tackle positions.

Morris is injury prone, from all accounts. I don't know how good he'll ever be.

Rawlings might be a serviceable RT, but should never sniff LT.

Givens, maybe, but we've never seen him and it would be his first season at tie level of FB.

You can't seriously tell me our OT situation doesn't terrify you. We will absolutely need JUCOs, even if we get Little. So we will have one, maybe two, tackles with any SEC experience and one of those will be C. Morris who, again, seems injury prone.

A&M Potential OC targets - By Roger Klarvin pretty funny post and thread on the aggy board, but I thought it was also interesting. Who would y'all put on a list for Ole Miss?

Yeah, I was more or less venting my frustration with Neal and them on their constant "what's the OL next year?!?!"

But onto your tackle concern, you are basically worried that we are not as good at LT having to have play a juco, Little, Morris, or Givens. Taylor getting a look at tackle is also possible but I'll believe it when I see it. We return a RT with 7 starts, thus as compared to the first 7 games this year, we are better at every position except one, where a juco, little, or Morris is replacing another juco. That's what I mean by saying at worst, we are just as good as our OL the first 7 games. If we are better at 4 of the 5 positions while the one where we might not be, is going to be replacing a juco. So no, being better at every position except one where we are replacing a juco, doesn't terrify me. Depth wise either. Right now we have 3 tackles who can play legit snaps. First 7 games we had 2. Next year we should be able to find 3 out of Rawlin, Jucos, Givens, and Morris.

I am also of the mind where I believe we land Little so in all honesty, I think next year's OL has the potential to be better, especially where we need it to be, which is the running game.

Yeah it's just the unknowns at LT that scare me.

I hope you're right, though. We certainly could be better if we get LT figured out.

Man, you know your shite. Most of my responses are shoot from the hip one liners. But I really like Ole Miss if that matters.
