Yeah, I hate to be so "woe is us" but what is going on? We have surpassed the injury bug on moved on to the injury monster.

ATM is going to go to town on our DB's. This could get ugly.

Has anyone heard updates on Tony Conner this week? Have they gone ahead with additional surgery or are they still watching his rehab to see what happens?

I wonder if not having Tom Allen on the sideline is why our fire is out. A lot of DC's are on the sidelines and they keep the D "live". Tom was our guy with Wommack in the booth. The dude lost a tooth the first day of pads and never left the field. I wonder if losing that toughness on the sideline has leaked onto the field.

Had the same thought. His USF D kept Memphis in check.

One down.

Bell has been taking reps at center and looks to start there this week.

At least he wont have to pull and attempt to beat the running back to the linebacker. That shite wasn't happening. He might actually be decent there.

^Exactly....however can he move fast enough hold his ground against Mack who has a tremendous 1st step (nothing worse than the pocket collapsing from the front because a QB can't step into a throw) or fire off & get to the 2nd level when uncovered?

Yeah, probably his natural position and the best possible spot for him which would explain why putting him there has probably never crossed the mind of our offensive line coach.

New centers are always a bit nerve-wracking. Hope there aren't any errant snaps.

He's got experience in the position and has been going up against our Dline everyday in practice. That's one hell of a way to prepare. Trial by fire. Man, I'm getting pumped.

Don't understand how Still is so garbage. How do you play a entire year at a spot and still suck or get even worse.

The key is to find a way to keep Still on the sideline.
