I went over there to read the threads they have on us.
First, I have no idea if we win or not, this game worries me and I think it is going to be a battle... but good lord, some people there really think we are a terrible team.
Hopefully we win so I can read Reel_Gator's meltdown.

Why do people think we're atrocious at covering the TE?
UT-Martin had no catches by TEs.
Fresno State's TE had three catches for 34 yards against us.
Alabama's TEs: 4 receptions for 70 yards.
Vandy's TEs had 6 catches for 58 yards against us.
So, in four games, 13 receptions, 162 yards, 0 TDs.
Where am I seeing that we are "very bad" at covering the TE, friends?

Kills me talking about the Bama game. You'd think Bama players just fumbled the ball on purpose or threw the INT on purpose then their defense just let us score....
I want to see Hugh Freeze push the gas on this team. I'm talking about destroy them. I'm sick of hearing the Bama game was a fluke. How is putting up that many points at Bama ever a fluke. I am hoping we blow this team out.

This is wishful thinking on their part because they often run some 2 TE sets (my son is a Gator fan so I have watched 3 of their games this year) like Arky does. Their thought process is that "they suck at TE coverage so we will move the ball and win the game"....so true homerific logic going there.

The big thing is how the D plays this week. They seem to play to the level of their competition this year and only really get up for "big games". Last week I talked with one of our Defensive Leaders from last year that graduated. He said from what he has seen thus far they need to get better at getting into position prior to the snap....just so happens that was his and Shacks job last year. If we can do a better job at that and cut down on the missed tackles our Defense can get back to where they were last year.

I have been stressing out over this game in a bad way. Can't wait til gametime so they can actually play. This is the most nervous I have been in a while.

Close game through three quarters. We find a run game between Wilkins and Kelly. Late Piesman TD by either Liggins or B-Rob for a 2 TD victory.

I really hope we beat the gators by 30, but I doubt it happens. I think it is a 1 possession game.

I actually think we go in there and do what we did against TexAM. We like playing in the big stadiums. They feed of it.
Also take the names off the jersey and compare the matchups. We will be facing a freshman QB learning a new scheme. Their Oline and secondary is injuried. We also have in depth knowledge of their DCs philosophy and scheme. Lots of factors in our favor.
