We had two positions of need OT and LB
Load up on those positions..
Hugh freeze got trolled by an 18 year old kid...
Didnt want to scare off the kid so they didn't recruit any other big left tackles.
We Had options, Martinas would've been here in a heart beat. He preferred ole miss. No offer he goes to state
Toby weathersby doesn't make it to campus. No OV no offer
madden de commits from Wisconsin reaches out to us... No OV no offer
Freeze wouldn't allow the scholarship for Matt Womack in the beginning or maybe at all... So he goes to Alabama
We are screwed at OT . After this year. And half our lineman had off season surgery so the line this year isn't promising either.
OT is clearly not like a defensive end or Wr in that they could play as true freshman. OT is the hardest jump from highschool to college and usually requires a redshirt year, to get strength, technique, and playbook.
We frickkkked.
I'm not pissed because drew flipped.. I'm pissed that freeze let it happen this late in the process, without a backup plan. If he wants to take other OV thats fine you keep recruiting tackles.
Freeze you got schemed.. I hope richmond really did give you some butch dirty recruiting info back before he flipped... And you bust something out...

No excuse, tried to play the your my guy not going after anyone but you, it worked with swinney...
Freeze looks like a deere in headlights and now he's finding back up players to fill spots as we type. None of which will be quality OT which we have a huge need for,

This recruiting season seems to have played out a lot like our football season. We knew coming in what our expectations were, but we got a taste of success and wanted more and more. In the end we ended up crashing/burning and blaming Matt Luke.
