Yep, in the way the big 4 changed the recruiting perception of the program, Patterson changes it that much more.

I dont put it past Freeze. Every year there are guys that no one knew of that were very close to visiting. Vernon Hargreaves I know for certain was close. We didn't have much of a chance of landing him but he was considering a visit. The kid with the Auburn tattoo that end up at Bama, name escapes me was suppose to take a last minute visit.
