Its just what he does. By saying he's 50/50, he has no chance to look like an idiot to his posters. He can say "Well I said it was only 50/50" if Leo doesn't commit to state and if he does, Coach will take the credit saying he knew it all along and his insiders never are wrong.
I honestly agree with his 50/50 assessment, but I don't pretend to know what a high school kid is going to do with his college years.
