This class is eerily similar to 2013 class. Think about it:
Definitely some similarities, but very different. Top to bottom, hell of a lot better class, but these individual comparisons are ehhhhhhhhhhhhh. That 2013 recruiting class(everyone, not just our guys) has the potential to be the greatest recruiting class since recruiting services really took off:
quote:
Drew Richmond...Laremy Tunsil
Richmond is going to get a boost. No way this kid is not a 5 star.
Beast for sure, but how Tunsil wasn't labeled potentially the greatest high school OL prospect in the history of recruiting, while DJ Fluker was, still baffles me. Tunsil showed it all, but was quiet throughout the recruiting process.
quote:
Damarkus Lodge...Laquan Treadwell
Lodge is just as talented as Treadwell
No. Over time? Anything is possible. I'll take Treadwell over any WR that I've seen in CFB in my lifetime. Hopefully he comes back with no setbacks. Never seen a WR that can block and fight for every inch like him. Shame his determination to win got him hurt.
quote:
Eric Swinney...Mark Dodson
Agreed.
quote:
Austin Golson
I wish we could make these two words turn into Huge Pussy, like frick is automatically changed to frick for some.

yyeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaa
talk about stretches, unless your about 10 years old.

Name a WR that was so much better than Treadwell their sophomore year. Maybe I'm drawing blanks. And don't throw a 3-deep stat line at me.

I would take Randy Moss all day.
all. damn. day.
all. damn. day.

I got one....Donte Moncrief....TreAdwell is the better route runner....but Moncrief was a stud that year.

Larry Fitzgerald was far and away better in a worse offense. Dude played 26 games and had 160 catches 2600 yards and 34 touchdowns and entered the draft as a true sophomore.
Calvin Johnson too.
Calvin Johnson too.

Treadwell was on course for a great year....he has been reliable but only shown flashes of greatness thus far. Hopefully it all comes together next year. As well, Quarterback play has limited his production a bit. I love Bo, but I read scouts write the same thing when evaluating Moncrief.

This.
Treadwell will be a first round draft pick, no doubt. However, saying he is tGOAT college WR after two seasons is pretty aggressive.
