He does, but he's going to be hired by someone within the next year or two, so that's not as big of a factor as you'd initially think. I've heard multiple times that his brother is the real deal, but LSU and Ole Miss are both above hiring family for a signature

I've said it on here before, but Ole Miss has a great shot at Patterson. Your offense was really fun to watch in the Egg Bowl. Plus, Simmons from 24/7 was at LSU's camp and said Franks outperformed Patterson, so Patterson is lying if he said signing Franks isn't a concern. LSU signing two 5* caliber qb's in one class is an apocalyptic sign if I've ever seen one

LSU's offense will have to go back to 2013 form to be a finalist, which I think will happen. Just pointing out that he's pretty far from an LSU lock, though LSU is likely a top 3 team until the end. I wonder how $wag Kelly would factor into his decision, someone I wish LSU would offer. I'm going to be depressed if the rebs get swag and LSU trots out Jennings in 2015

Makes sense.

You'll hear a lot of LSU fans suggest dropping Franks for Patterson, which I'm not even that opposed to. Patterson talks to a lot of 2016 instate prospects, and Louisiana's 2016 class will be one for the books. Louisiana already has over 10 prospects in the early Rivals 100 (some should be ranked higher than they are), so it would probably be worth the trade off of letting Franks go. Patterson and Mykel Jones are a package deal.
