Would definitely take the sting off not getting McKenzie.

Saw the highlights of him returning the opening kickoff against UK back for a TD and then also ran a punt back for a TD in that same game.

Anyone know if Newsome runs track as well? Don't really care if he does or not, just notice that he is so damn fast. Would be easily one of the fastest players I feel like and to add his vision to ST would be something else

When does Kailo just focus on track? He doesn't field punts, Dodson is on KO returns... The only thing I've seen him do is play special teams...

He's a DB. He was #4 on the CB depth chart last week.

He's been the biggest bust of the Freeze era. Luckily one of very few.

Kailo recovered the Alabama fumble... that in itself solidified his worth.

I think I just had too high of hopes for him. It really amazes me how well this staff evaluates.

In the Freeze tenure, all of our five-stars have lived up to the hype, sans maybe Lavon Hooks but he's been great at times this year. Not only are our top recruits playing well, the under recruited guys are playing well too:

Evan Engram: three-star with only one other Power 5 offer (Wake)
Derrick Jones: three-star with no other Power 5 offers
Trae Elston: three-star
Ben Still: three-star
Pierce Burton: three-star
Mike Hilton: three-star
Marquis Haynes: three-star
Cody Core: two-star
John "I'll kill you and your family" Youngblood: two-star

That's why when I see people (mainly the dumbasses posting on Spirit) bitching about Z Woods and other lowly-recruited players, I get annoyed by their ignorance. This staff can recruit big names like no other staff in our modern past, but they evaluate diamonds so well. Maybe not on State's level but up there.

killed me

ETA: I wish Marquel Harrell had stayed our secret a little longer. Also, Woods looks like a murderer on the loose in the field.
