David johnson knows his dad personally. He played on team
USA with eli johnson. David crystal balled him to ole miss. Shea's dad is good friends with one of our coaches too. He is coming to oxford for the second time in the past couple month for the SEC combine.

He's been pretty straight forward about everything since I joined before kickoff last year.
Doesn't really gas you up about recruits that aren't coming. Of course he puts out "reports" about a kid visiting and saying he likes the rebels and oxford. That's what he's paid to do. He only says "I like our chances" with guys that we legitimately have a chance with.

Agreed. You get scout amount coverage with rivals like accountability, and it's not just one guy, David and three others all do work and all give their opinions, most with variance in opinion. He CB'd kids when he thinks they really like OM and that's bascually anyone that we finish in the top 3 for so that's my only guess as to why he gets a bad rep. Msu fans don't like when he CB kids and they peg him as a homer because so.
