I just want you to know that everything is going to be ok. We are all wrong sometimes in our life. Yes, like in your case, some more drastic than others, but it's alright to admit it and move on.

FWIW, I instantly thought of you on the 4th and 1 Gross play against Arkansas. I could see you shed a tear and take a larger than normal scoop out of the Blue Bell ice cream bucket.

We're 3-9, maybe 2-10 without Gross. If he's not in New York in a few weeks, something's wrong.

I wish it was Gross eating that one more scoop of Blue Bell. Maybe he'd surpass the beastly 240 he weighs in at.

The defense will still be very good. Maybe more athletic, but losing Prewitt and Shackleford hurts with leadership and keeping everyone on assignment.

Carlos Thompson
Bryon Bennett
Lavon Hooks
Serderius Bryant
Keith Lewis
DT Shackleford
Senquez Golson
Cliff Coleman
Cody Prewitt

Those 9 players accounted for a lot of tackles, int's and forced fumbles. All have played their best football this season.

Talent will replace experience, I hope they can coach them up quick.

Shack and Prewitt held down the leadership on defense this season, who fills the void. CJ, RN, DN, or maybe Mike Hilton.

RN will never be a vocal leader. Denzel, Chief, CJ, and Hilton will hold down the vocal leader roles.

all we need is for one person to step up as a vocal leader and this defense could potentially be even better... instead of a ball hawking secondary, it will be a lockdown, ball hawking secondary... we will force people to run right at Robert Nkemdiche because they will complete zero passes and I will laugh and smoke cigars with an evil cat on my arm rest.
