Can you guys check out a prospect for me?

Henre' Toliver

Highlights

Arkansas Commit.

Held Arizona State, Georgia Tech, UK, Louisville, Missisippi State, Nebraska, OU offers.

He's a CB from Louisiana and I think he's the best pure CB in the state. I have no idea why LSU hasn't offered. Am I just missing something obvious?

I would love for him to go to Ole Miss.

Hearing Aaron Morris is down to 347lbs. He played last year at 330lb so if he can lose about 7 more he will be fine

Now we just gotta get Junen down as well.

I think Luke shuffling the guys around a bit lit a fire in him.

Junen lost 3lbs from last year. The other huge gain was Duke.

There's so many different scenarios on how we finish this class out.

We land the locked in 5
1. Speaks- hes a DD, got to
2. Hedelin- have to have a JC OT
3. Pack- top 5 target in this class
4. Morgan- top 3 target in this class
5. Webster- must have CB

Technically we would have only 2 spots left but we could trim some fat as well. The combinations of players to come would be...

Glass & Shaw
Clark & Hamilton (would have to hang onto Standberry)
Green & Jackson (Yancy feels we can get Jesse if we want and with losing Sims and Pack not a sure thing, we may have to go after him hard. Land him and Green becomes that much easier)

We also have to account for two very talented safeties in Jamal Adams and Trey Marshall. Plus Terrance Alexander and JT Gray.

Alexander has us as #2 and as much as we need HS CB, if we get Webster, we will be ok there.

JT is a stud and hes instate but we have so many players with his body type already.

Really the fat we could cut from our class would be Standberry if we have no shot at Hamilton and then choice between Pittman and Williams because they are the exact same player. Cutting instate kids is dangerous and the top candidates would be Calvin Moore and Alfred Dickens. Calvin is teammate to possible 5* Jamal Peters and brother to someone who said he wanted to go to state but OM showed him more love. We drop Calvin and we probably lose Alvin and Jamal. So no go there. Alfred has a teammate in Fred Walls who is a stud, so no luck there either.

We may drop Doss. Thats the only other guy possible other than the kicker who we just flipped. You usually dont see a team let lose a kid that they took the time to flip.

So at the very most we have 5 open slots to fill between

1. Glass
2. Shaw
3. Clark
4. Hamilton
5. Adams
6. Marshall
7. Gray
8. Alexander
9. Green
10. Jackson.

We are #2 with all of these kids except Gray and Glass who I think we lead for.

Williams is a beast keep the in state pipelins going and drop doss and Pittman is what id like to do and possibly standberry if Hamilton is just not possible

Someone correct me if Im wrong, but all of a sudden Im not so worried about the numbers. Last year we signed a total of 26 kids. Technically it was 27, but we added Fadol and Gleeson to the class to make 29 and then Snoop, Marcus, and AJ didnt make it to give us 26 kids in last years class. In 2012 we signed 18 kids with 17 qualifying meaning 8 scholarships rolled over to the 2013 class and with us only using one, we technically could sign 32 in this years class.

Edit: Freeze has said he likes to keep scholarships from each class to play with so we probably wont use all 32, but unless Im wrong we do have that many to work with. Though the 85 limit may come into play with that because I think we only lose like 23 seniors and have maybe 5-6 open scholarships. That may be where Yancy is getting his 28 number, but all that takes is more fat to be trimmed from the roster.

Bledsoe, kicker from last year we signed who isnt #1 in the nation, Bailey, Hutson, Hughes....Hudspeth is a calling

Just watched film on JT Gray. It was blurry, but good lord that kid kills people. Hits harder than both CJ and Ronald who both bring the wood. He looks like the fastest guy on the field in every game, but I dont know about this sub 4.4. Certainly fast enough for Safety/Huskie

Eh. I get your point but its unrealistic to think that all Doss, Buchanan, and Devante will all stay if they are all within a year of one another plus not signing a QB makes you very attractive next year. When you sign two in one class it gives you some cushion
