Here are the OM numbers: Ole Miss
The $80.3mil we raised last year included the $12mil Seal(family) gift for the athletics complex, so that makes this $86.4 even more impressive. Overall(dismissing that one gift), we raised an additional $18 mil this year. Just shows the success State is having in marketing and fundraising under this administration.
By comparison, Penn St just announced their record donations @ $208 million for the fiscal year. They have almost double the actual donors(190,000) than State and OM have living alumni. State had about 21,000 people that actually donated...
As should be obvious, it is a foot race to try to continually increase enrollment up to SEC/national standards. That's the only way either of us ever become truly competitive from a funding standpoint outside of finding a Boone Pickens type donor, which would be the only way it happens quickly...
ETA: Bulldog Club giving @ $32mil this year, down from $37.6mil last year(which also included the $12 mil donation)...

It's also very confusing because basically every school reports differently, just like they report budgets differently.
