I dont' think Cj moves to LB. Freeze wants 2 players at every spot and 3 at DL so he can run his offense at full pace.

We really need 6 quality DE's and 6 quality DT's. Ward, CJ, RN, CL would be a good start. Carlos Thompson could be the that 6th DE to fill out the rotation.

Hooks, Reed, Gross, Bennett, Martin and Hamiliton would be the roation at DT.

I think we are fine at LB anyway. We really only have 2 LB spots and DN, MM, Strong, Bryant, Williams, Lewis and Shack can hold it down.

I totally forgot about DT......... Damn I hope he can play to his potential and not pull a Lockett. If anything his leadership is worth a ton

He would be huge. He has said that there were a few plays in the Vandy/ A&m game that he could have made pre snap changes that could have possibly changed the outcome of the game. If nothing else having someone who has been essentially a coach for 2 years can't hurt.

I see him running around campus almost every day, kid works harder than anyone else on the team.

Hopefully he will be a big player for us next season, he's certainly worked hard and earned it

TC could play any position on the back end of the defense. Personally I think he plays SS, Elston at FS, and Prewitt moves down to LB.

We are all getting ahead of ourselves a bit but it definitely has the chance to be a very good class.

Also dont forget about Cameron Whigham at DE. He is a veteran who isnt the most flashiest player but you dont have to worry about him making a mistake. He's always where he should be. I think he has a strong senior campaign no matter who we get in recruiting.

Reminds me of the role Emmanuel Stephens played. Everyone else was the big name, but he stil was making plays.

They trust Prewitt too much at FS to move him. Elston is locked in at SS too. I think Chief will become the permanent backup FS and TC will either battle Elston for SS or battle Standifer for Husky.

I'm pretty sure you got this backwards, might be wrong though, but I thought Elston was FS & Prewitt was SS ... if that is the case I don't see why we couldn't move Cody to the Husky & TC to the SS/FS spot depending where he & Trae work best together. Of course that's if they feel comfortable moving Cody from the back that it ...

BTW can't wait to have D.T. back

Carr is going to flip... looks to be between us and alabama for him.

They called Elston's spot the rover and Prewitt's FS. They are pretty similar though. I still think they trust Prewitt where he is and won't move him.

Anyone else think after he takes a visit, he will be a kid in a candy shop? Everything is better than Starkville. Once he sees something better, he will drop them.

I'm not on twitter but I'd love to see a "campaign" for the "Fab 5". Nkemdiche, Lawson, Treadwell, Conner, and yes Jones!!!!
