If you believe Yancy's spin, he signed a non compete contract with Bama last year that wouldn't allow him to go to an SEC school this year besides Bama. He said we appealed and lost. I'm not sure I believe it but that is what he is saying.

An athlete cannot bind himself to a school except through the established procedures, which are strict and rigorously enforced. They are talking about some sort of binding contract signed outside of the NCAA LOI process.

Okay if this is the case and it's so obvious to see this I ask ... Why would A) Yancy say what he did given the time he has been in the recruiting world and nothing that this is the case? B) Are the Scout people really that stupid to believe made up shite like that if it is exactly that made up shite?

Because i have no idea who it is. To me it might be moore or neil patrick harris. I have no idea. Obviously moore is the most likely candidate but if i get my hopes up it better be more than just kailo fricking moore. hes good and would boost our ranking but is he a bare necessity with all the other running backs we have? I wouldnt think so.

Its Moore. Neal even said it in the podcast today. Maybe there are others that are close but the Christmas guy was Moore.
