You just wait. We returned all our RB's and entire two deep on the OL, yet our rushing went from 3rd to much less. The difference was a running QB.

Try harder. Mackey and Brunetti were both running qb's. You lost your threat to pass, and it allowed everyone to stack the box and fully sell out to stopping the run. Masoli was a lethal passer outside the pocket, which was the dynamic all your qb's last year lacked. That was literally the only difference.
Your #1 and #2 rbs both getting injured week 1 and playing banged up didn't help anything either...

Yes. You had a RS FR starting in place of a 5th yr NFL talent. That same RS FR is also an -or- on our 2-deepn. Massive, Massive difference in expectations if Smith isn't here or gets hurt again this year.

Brunetti played in two games and Mackey didn't know how to run the option. Relf couldn't pass for shite but he could run the option to perfection which is why a back like Ballard can have better numbers than Bolden. Ballard wasn't overly talented, just fit your system very well just like your stable of backs do now. Dixon and Norwood were elite backs out of HS so them succeeding wasn't a surprise.
