Not saying he isnt talented and will grow into a good player- but an undersized DT blowing up my OL would send some real red flags

We're thin at DT. We knew that already so, no, it's not really much of a concern so much as it's confirmation of what we already knew.

Yea if SEC Talk picks State to finish 8-4 this year then it must not be crazy. Especially since the 2011 state prediction thread was pretty much identical with most picking 8-4 and State fans on there all voting 9-3 and 10-2 and State finishing 6-6

What was those predictions in 2010? Oh yeah, it went the other way that year. Where was the delusion then?

Here's the break down of their craziness...
They have equal talent to Auburn but better coaching
They have better talent and coaching than UT and A&M
They have less talent but better coaching than Arky
So they look at those four games as two for sure wins and two toss ups. If they split the toss ups 9-3. If they split the 4 games 8-4.

Thing is, their schedule is so easy that they should sleepwalk into a 7-win season and a bowl, so I see where they think that 8 is possible.

Well if you read my post I said now that you've had one good season your fanbase thinks they're going to win 9+ games every season.
In 2009 you finished 5-7, so of course you had not had that one good season yet so you didn't predict 9+ wins yet for the 2010 prediction.
Coming off a year where you finished 6-6, and lose your starting QB, RB, some of the better parts of a bad OL, and change your offense from one with a mobile QB to one for a immobile pocket passer and expecting to have 2 to 4 more wins than the season before? Yes I think that's kind of delusional.

We see 4 toss ups all at home...which is also what Vegas sees.
So, it's delusional to think we can win 2 of 4?
