Why I now dislike A&M and Missouri

When these two left the Big 12, for the first year or two I rooted for them. They were essentially Big 12 teams playing in the SEC. (They didn’t have years to recruit as a future SEC team like OU and Texas.)
Unfortunately, both fan bases immediately started trashing the Big 12. I suppose that that was inevitable considering neither was able to win a Big 12 championship this century. They needed to tie their identities with the success of other SEC teams.
Certainly with Aggie there is a strong little brother syndrome.
Only took me a couple of years to start rooting against these two.
For me, I will never trash old Big 12 teams. They are a part of our history. Unlike Missouri and A&M, we didn’t leave because we were escaping the shadow of another Big 12 team.

I’ll agree with you on Mizzou, as a fanbase on the Rant they act like they are on some higher level than OU simply due to their SEC affiliation. It’s like Okie State talking massive trash, it’s weird and unfounded.
A&M is much more preoccupied with hating Texas, and I can get with that. Also, other fan bases are pretty quick to dump on A&M so I get their defensiveness.
Mizzou has accomplished jack squat but act like they are the second coming of Alabama. They’re like mouthy entitled millennials…. so desperate for attention and validation.

I don't mind shite talking the big 12..the origional members had plenty of money to upgrade facilities, hire good coaches and compete, but for the most part they sat on arse....I think it's funny that they're having to let g5s in to stay afloat....frickem.

I’ve never cared for Misery. They are just a minor speed bump that is annoying. A&M will always trip over themselves because they are Aggy!

missouri fans act like merely being in the SEC makes them a big deal
They try to hide that we are historically bad at football but only lead our series by one despite playing 120 games
I would wet myself if we beat them next year
