OU has the most returning production on Defense in the SEC, OU has the most returning starts on the Oline in the SEC.
Do you actually have references for these claims? I suppose the defense one is believable but the O line having the most returning starts in the SEC seems suspect.
I guess if you count all the transfer guys that could be a big boost to that number... but still... in a 16 team league... a team that brings back zero returning O line starters has the most returning O line starts????

It's true about the O-Line I've seen the same graphic trying to find it now I'll post it when I find it.

The articles are out there , Also Phile Steele rates the OU linebackers the best in the SEC and rates the OU secondary the best in the SEC.
The returning starts in the defense should be obvious.
The returning starts in the Oline is due to Portal.

GD i spent a few minutes looking for the article with the graphic but cant find it. the article was not about solely the Olines and starts but had that graphic. It was on the web about a month ago.
The graphic showed Oklahoma O line with the most starts in the SEC, second was Texas with about 3 or 4 fewer tan OU, then showed 3rd 4th and 5th place in the SEC they all had significantly fewer starts.
Portals include the center from SMU, the guard from North Texas and the left tackle from Mich State as well as others….
Same article stated OU had the most returning defensive starts…..

Well the SEC media predicts OU to be 8 in the SEC…….
DISRESPECT……..
I would love to win the SEC this year and the next 3……
I did see they picked Stutsman and Bowman on 1st team defense….
We shall see this rat poison being fed to the SEC works in our favor…..

Of our 8 SEC games 6 of them are ranked in tip 15 of most polls. If we win half of those 6 plus the other 2 thats 5-3. Win OOC games thats 9-3. If the 3 losses are fairly close that could get us in playoffs with SOS. It will be razor thin margins. Win 4 of the 6 thats 10-2 and would be about the best we could hope for. I do think our D keeps us in games plus our O should be potent with some great skill players. Have to win the close games.

As I have shared on numerous radio & podcasts this summer, if there is one Top-10 team on which Kelley Ford the person disagrees with KFordRatings the model, it’s Oklahoma
I know why the model thinks this is a Top-10 team. But I personally think the Sooners are closer to ~No. 15

This one is interesting, he rates if teams upgraded or downgraded after week 1 games. Oregon got a huge downgrade after their game. Houston downgraded as well (we play them this week)

SEC Scoring Efficiencies heading into Week 2
Formula is simple:
How often do you score per snap?
How many points do you allow per snap faced?
Top right is elite
Bottom left is awful
