Our pitching is just not good enough this year. 8 runs and at home and stressing over last out in 8-7 game.

Counting on Parker to close it out.

Sooners get the win over the Razorbacks, 8-7 after Parker comes in to stop the rally.
OU had 8 runs on 8 hits.
1 error and 8 left on base.

I think our strategy was to win close. Since Arky is ranked 6th it helps our SOS if they don’t lose bad and drop.
Just kidding, our pitching is far removed from some great past pitchers who could close. Glad to have the win.

Announcer said “relay throw”. No, it was a direct throw.
Amazing how fast that ball was going. Softball is bigger than baseball and ball seemed like it gained speed on the way.

We've tied it up in game two against the Hogs. Isabella Emerling goes yard to make it 1-1.

Hogs get a two run HR to take a 3-1 lead.
Our pitching is going to be a problem in the tournament.

Its been a problem all year.
Rocha has helped but too much lost time. Plus the pitchers we have are too ip and down. I’ve said all year when our bats go quiet we don’t have the pitching to win most low scoring games.

Another note. Tonight we’ve been swinging so early and their pitcher only has 73 pitches in 6th inning. We never made her work thus no walks either.

Wells does it again.
Sooners draw closer.
3-2 Hogs.

Wish we still had Jordy. Grrrr.

Our last 2 batters only used 3 pitches and had 2 outs to end game.
We’ve lost 3 of 4. Officially have a mini slump. I think their homer that scored 2, 1 runner was hit by pitch. We are losing in the margins when we used to win those.
Need to take series Sun.
