Extras tied 5-5. Forcing their ace to pitch a lot she’s up to 128 pitches.

Rain might be close too

Tx finally taking ace out after she walks leadoff batter in T8. Got to feel like a loss

They don't really have a reliable #2, but he couldn't go any longer with Kavan.

Wells is due. I'd put her on if I was the Texas coach.

Welp, lost 8-6. Rare for Lowry but we made them earn it.

Longhorn fans chest thumping on Facebook because they avoided the sweep. Reminds me of 1984 when they were chest thumping after the game when Akers went for the tie.

Pitching was our weakness but has improved a lot.

I don’t like that we brought our ace in and she gives up 2 home runs. We pitched deep bench and somehow they survived and got us to extras. Then we take lead. And promptly allow them to win off our ace.

But its a season long journey. And Rocha being back has been huge. It just seemed Lowry wasn’t focused and our coaches should have caught that before the HRs. But as a coach you have to trust your ace too. Some lessons were learned.

Still have some tough games ahead.
