Mateer's QBR last night was 58.4. Even his TD pass in the 3rd was under thrown. We had several costly miscues. I really don't know what to say except it appears to be another year where the defense will have to carry us. I don't think it will be enough.

Here's an idea. After Riley gets fired at USC, we can bring him back as OC or make him and Venables co-head coaches with Nagy as GM. Maybe then we'd have production on both sides of the ball.
