The coaching staff didn’t even consider taking a shot towards the end zone. It wasn’t even a thought. And the game was managed so poorly they had to spike the ball to stop the clock?
And then you punctuate that with a missed field goal?

I still don’t understand the plan at running back

I find it really hard to imagine any guy is able to get into any sort of a rhythm this way

The right move is to get Whitt Newbauer some live reps here in the second half.
Really unfair to him to get thrown in the fire cold against Georgia or Texas when Mateer inevitably gets sat vs one of those teams.
