. . . does Arbuckle move on to a HC position because the way things are shaping up there should be some plum job openings at the end of the year?

We could hope not. If he stays long enough, it won't be a run down program he will take over. He needs to avoid the UCLA job like the plague. Florida should come open as well. That would probably be a more attractive job.

Only if we win the title then I’ll allow it. Next year will be a transition year. Likely lose Mateer to NFL. Start either Hawkins or a true freshman. Lose some key players.

And we go to 9 SEC games. Since it will be our “home” the schedule will be brutal:

3 true home games
1 RRS home game
5 true road games

The year after would be:
5 true home games
1 RRS road game
3 true road games

Now it could be next year is:

4 true home
1 RRS home
4 true road

Anyways, we also play Michigan on the road. So expect next year to be pretty tough. If we did win title and he left that gives us next year reload and make another run the year after. It all depends how they reset conf schedules next year. Will they use that dumb last 11 years record to determine schedule or last 2 years?

I don't know. We'll see. I have to think at 6'1", he'd need to develop a more upright throwing motion to grade 1st round
