DraftKings has them 7.5, and the market has been buying the over all summer: it opened -120 in May and it's -136 now, no line move, just the over getting more expensive. My schedule sheet with real homefield edges has them favored in 8 of 12, coin flips at Michigan (I think I’m gonna bet OU in this spot) and Florida, clear dogs only to Georgia and Texas in Dallas (but anything can happen in this game), and it pencils out 8.0 wins. My production model lands 7.6.
All wrong. This team can win 10. Maybe more.

Why Oklahoma HC Brent Venables Expects More Breakouts on the D-line
Venables often describes the SEC as a “line of scrimmage” league. And with so many key pieces from last year’s defensive line no longer in Norman, he underscored how important it is that defensive linemen have regularly been able to break out during his tenure.
“The margins are incredibly small,” Venables said. “I would argue that if you lose the line of scrimmage in any particular game, most of the time you're going to lose the game. Not just if you're going to lose, it's by how much you're going to lose. That’s where it starts for us.”

Keep in mind that was a betting site review. I was mainly posting it for all the player and team data not the win/loss data. The line is only used to get people to place bets and make money which I don’t care about. I liked their writeup of the actual player and team stuff though.
Hope that makes sense. Those betting sites would never put a line at 10-11 because thats too high for them to get bets placed on the over, and they need equal bets on both sides to work margins. But its not a true indicator of wins/losses
It was too long an article for me to eliminate the betting stuff but had some great player data which was all I was after

We are in the home stretch which will seem to take forever. But season is approaching

It seems we moved our SEC logo to the top middle, leaving the players top left side open for ads.
Who do you think we’ll end up signing for it?
I say Braums.

Super niche tweet at 1:02am that I’m going to come back to once people start talking about it during 2028 NFL draft cycle… Oklahoma LT Michael Fasusi reminds me so much of 2024 New York Jets 1st round pick LT Olu Fashanu
•Movement patters are very similar
•Both have elite independent hand usage
•Absurd ability to recover and anchor
•Core strength is evident

This is a great 50+ minutes review of our oline. Really well done, seems right side will be weaker one

Hopefully we won't need this.
