More TE film. Man, I am juiced about our TE situation. We went from practically no production which allowed teams to hone in on other O weapons to what I think could be one of the best TE rooms in the country.
Whitten didn’t come here to fail. He has his future riding on how well he does. And if he does turn it around he will get offers for bigger positions.
I always wonder who is the eventual BV replacement. Whitten will be a HC someday is my guess but for now he’ll need to prove he can coach one unit. And most likely we keep him 2 or so years and then have to promote or lose. This is a huge year for him and thats why I’m excited for our offense.

I wish I had time right now to watch it but it's 1:15 long so .. if you watched it, did they mention Arkansas transfer E'Marrion Harris? That dude looked awesome on film and he's HUGE. Surely in the two deep, right?

I haven’t watched it all yet but the parts I did were good discussion.

How in the Hell can you rank a team "texass" #3 with a new DC over Georgia?

We've had a lot of explosive offenses over the years, but I think most Sooners would rather be ranked #1 for defense. You can win championships with an elite defense and an adequate offense. But as we all know, a great offense paired with a mediocre defense won't get you there.

Poll on sports radio yesterday - What would you rather see:
1) A vastly improved, SEC-leading run game
2) Mateer taking the 'next step'
IMO - just give me the pre-injury Mateer plus the SEC #1 run game. We'd be absolute world beaters

Loaded question.
I want
Pre-injury Mateer
Huge run game
Great TE swiss army action
WRs run great routes
OLine like Sam Bradford had

McElroy basically just described his national title team at Alabama when talking about us. A tier 1 defense with an adequate offense that doesn't make critical mistakes. I think he's right.

Interesting. This would be a crazy schedule when adding reg season one

It would be the hardest path to a national title in history.

Already turned down going to one relatives wedding and attending my nephews wedding depends on the kickoff time with Kentucky.
