Evenin'

And no bueno on the flu. I have to get my shot before I go back to work with the walking petri dishes. It's pretty rampant up here right now and I had the flu over winter break last year. No fun.

I'd die

Not to mention not be able to do my USAF job (NTTAWWT )

I'm still lugging my boot around the weight room as much as I can

Exactly!

That's the problem here. I'll ask folks to do shite in turnover for the following shifts, and not only will it not be done, I won't get any reciprocal turnover explaining why. shite pisses me off because I end up HAVING to pick up the slack or I can't continue doing my job.

Maddening

I can't even lift my damn Kitchen-Aid mixer. Or take out the garbage. It's amazing the things that weigh more than 10 lbs. Or how much you use your core for little things.

Jesus, how are you sane?

You haven't had any setbacks though, have you?

Nah. Coming off the pain meds messed with my stomach a bit but that worked itself out after a day or so. The incision at my belly button is taking longer to heal than the others lower on my abdomen but that's apparently not uncommon just because of where it is.

Finally being able to put on a pair of regular fitted pants instead of just oversized sweatpants yesterday was my latest high point.
