This was me .... 1979. We had just gotten our berets back and we took this picture outside the old Airborne Museum on Ardennes.

I was a Staff Sgt at the time, about to head down to JFK, still a few years from Italy, about six years from Honduras, ten years from the CMP and twenty years from Booz Allen.
It went by fast as hell. Who would have thought a man trained in drafting and design ... owell. Life is crazy.

I appreciate that more than any words could ever adequately express, UMTR. It really has been a rough road and the effects of that affair have really been far reaching and devastating. I wish I could be the confident, self assured woman I was even a millisecond before my "best friend" dropped the affair bomb on me. I'm working on it, but I doubt I'll ever get back to that level of self belief again. I'm equally as certain that you, too, are a beautifully vibrant woman who is thriving!
