And the nation’s BMI has increased and cardiovascular health has decreased since that fateful event.

Damn you, 1904 St. Louis Louisiana Exposition!

Why the hell do hot dogs deserve equal footing with sandwiches? Why now? This is a slippery slope. What’s next? Is spaghetti with meatballs a sandwich because pasta is a bread and you can, if you wish, eat it with your hands? Are colaches sandwiches? What about burritos and tacos in flour tortillas? Are two slices of pizza, one inverted and placed on top of the other, a sandwich, too?

Where, really, does this madness end?

Gross.

Hot dogs are for hot dog buns, not sandwiches. If you want a nitrate-filled piece of meat between two slices of light bread, there is only one answer: bologna.

To drill down, I like onions, but not on my sandwich (unless that sandwich is a hamburger). So no to number 1, even if it was bologna.

As to number 2, no because of lettuce, again, even if it was bologna. Also, I see no mayo and way too much mustard.

But hot dogs are lips and assholes. Bologna is an actual lunch meat with classical beginnings. Hot dogs are made out of whatever is left over after they make the sausage. It is the lowest form of meat, if it can even be called meat.

What stadiums have you been to?

Sure they look like a single piece but as soon as you put the mustard, horseradish, and mayonnaise in there to take advantage of this apparent design bonus it splits and winds up on your clean new shirt.
