What is that jet called? And isn't that the one that lifts strait off the ground kinda like a helicopter? Would be cool to fly one of those

I'm on my third Army MOS. This one's really working out. Medically retired. My injury is the best thing that ever happened to me. I feel like that guy from Office Space.

It's a Harrier if I'm not mistaken. I think the bros above are confused, and you are correct that it lifts off vertically.

Well, both the Harrier and the Osprey can take off vertically

Admittedly, I only skimmed his question, and the first aircraft that popped into my head was the Osprey.
