I got mine at age 3. It was a cheap one but I loved it. My first real glove was age 5 it was a Rawlings with finger hole, because it was cool and I have the habit of sticking my finger out and my grandpa could not break me of it.

I'd say probably 2 or 3, I can't remember.

It was a red wilson glove, I think I still have it somewhere.

I am thinking of getting my son one for the spring. I just want to see what the average age of people was when they got their first one.

He has a basketball and a nerf football already.

I just wished he was a lefty, so I could make him into a reliever.

2. My brother was playing t-ball and my father was the coach. Oddly enough I still have my father's glove from when I was that young. Still usable, just zero padding in the palm area.

Well I think Tball starts at 3 and 4 year olds so 2 can't be too early.

Mine's gonna have a golf club in his hand ASAP.

I'm trying to make him a lefty, like me. But the babysitter is ruining it. She forces him to eat everything right handed. It is the reverse of what my grandpa did to me. As they did not sell lefty gloves where I lived.

He will at times pick up football lefty and throw it. Other times he picks up a basketball and throws it righty. He may be ambidextrous, but doubt it. I think he is just confused.

When I was 20 ish, my dad wasn't a play catch kind of guy. Great dad, but tennis and chess were his thing.
