Was not I that downvoted and know nothing about this until now.

I personally dont think Netflix will go anywhere. It is the "entry level" platform in their market. It will be used by many just for the fact of it being a "cheap" known service.

They are expanding their own movies/series and always getting "new releases". Also, as a parent of young kids, it is money with the kids section. Its not mickey mouse club house for hours on cable like when I first had children. Way more to easily access and an easy platform for young kids.

I personally like Hulu and Amazon because it has more current tv shows and what not and I can also rent movies without leaving my house. Rented Super Troopers 2 last night cheaper than I can at the local movie store.

CFO stepped down but is helping pick his successor which leads me to think they didn't tell him to just let the door hit him on the arse as he left. But that's all I've got for ya.

quote:

During his tenure, Wells led Netflix on a spending spree that saw the company borrow billions of dollars to fuel its aggressive growth strategy into original content. As a result, Netflix saw its worldwide subscriber base climb steadily, but it also generated concerns among investors about its rapid cash burn.

Sounds like Netflix wants to slow down the spending spree. Wells was great at expanding the company but apparently doesn't want to change his style, but isn't bitter. Wants a smooth transition.

Nowhere is any pedophilia shite mentioned. Why is that word being used so much these days to attack companies and people? It's bullshite.

One thing I do like about Netflix is some of their originals. From what I've always understood was that it was cheaper for them than traditional Hollywood making their productions. I could be wrong though.

I hear you. This was more of a 'heads up' that this is being talked about.

There's a movie called Desire that made headlines for child porn/pedophilia. Here's an article about it:
