Might take the kayak out on the lake if it doesn’t pour down today.
Then grilling and drinking and smoking a cigar tonight.

I saw it was a chance of rain in STL, so we slept in. Probably go to the local pool now instead. Kinda happy I got to sleep in for once.

Six Flags would be nuts today, anyway. How far away are you? Do you ever get to any Cards games?

2 hours away.
Haven't got to a Cards game since we moved back here. Need to get to some games. My Granny went to the game last night for her 75th birthday. She goes quite often. My kids are still kinda young for a game. We did quite a bit in STL last summer. Zoo, City Museum, Six Flags, Grants Farm, etc.
Bought season passes to Six Flags the other day, so I'm sure we'll be down there quite a bit. Do you live down there?

Nah. Grew up south of there. I make about 1 game a year. Wish it was more.

Gotcha! Yeah for being in a rural location, I'm 2 hours from STL, 3.5 from Chicago and 2 hours to Indianapolis. Plenty of stuff to do, but have to account for Midwest weather.

How much do you run?

Not enough. Depends on how busy I am with work. Average probably 9-12. Good week 15-18.
It used to be more before a couple of injuries (ankle and knee) over the past year and a half, but I’m slowly building back.

Were y'all both skinny cross country kids in HS? Cause y'all sound like people I know who used to run XC

What are you up to this weekend bowl?

Had my big fat Lebanese family reunion bbq earlier. Me and a couple cousins about my age are going to hit up some bars downtown tonight and frick shite up. Possibly golf with the uncles and a couple older cousins tomorrow.

Hell no. My girlfriend (then-wife now) got me into it. It’s just the most convenient way to stay halfway in shape and tune out for a little while 3-4 a week. It took me a little while to learn to love it. Now I’m a complete a-hole if I don’t get my runs in each week.

Ahh that's right. I forgot you already said that. Sounds fun! Enjoy!!
