It's hard to beat - free utilities, nice scenery, free lot rent. With some of the jobs they even pay you an hourly wage on top of the free stuff.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with this, but there is no way that I will work until I'm 55-60 to do this.

Sure renting is a good way to cut down on some expenses but buying a good home in a good area is an investment, no matter how you shake it. Pay a little more to your mortgage every month, pay off early and you are in good shape.

55 to 60? Who said anything about that?

The above poster that you commented on. Mentioned they did this when they retired. Doing my best to accomplish retirement by 55.

ETA: Again, I don't think there is anything wrong with doing that. It would be a good alternative to home ownership at any age, if that is your goal.

Go get you a pup tent and a sleeping bag at walmarks. You can then sleep under a bridge any time. Recommend California though. Homelessness is a life style and in Norcal it hardly ever rains in the summer.

Find a sugar momma who has a paid for house and can afford a staff to keep it up. You don't own it but you enjoy all the perks of living there. Nice thing about sugar mamas is they seem to like poor boys so if you have decent looks, some smarts, and a large penis you are in even with no money.
