Most of the lofts are in Germantown it seems like.
We found a place in Green Hills on Craigslist back when we were renting and didn't have any problems with it. Just make sure there's a contract involved before you hand them any money.

Most of the ones here in Atlanta are pretty crappy but you'll find a few good ones occasionally (usually completely renovated).

Yep. And I can't justify paying $1500 a month for 700sq. ft
I'd be better off buying something than paying that much for rent.

I found a few places in Green Hills that I really like

That could be fun. I lived downtown in a high rise right out of college and loved it. Grocery shopping and having guests over was a bitch, though.
