Sure, if you want to say ultimately it's his responsibility that's fine.
But at the same time, what you are saying isn't actually abnormal. Penalties and shite happen.

Well gosh, there is nobody's opinion I take more seriously than an AI.
You could have just cited their overall win % without any context you know?

I see you played a lot of the original Civ!
I want to go back to Democratic - Republicans from our founding fathers and maybe make the other party based on what Ben Franklin saw in how the Iroquois Nation was set up.

I've played them all except the new one. It's one of my favorite games. I play on deity, but I don't do multiplayer. Probably lose about the same amount, most of the time.
I didn't even think about the fact that's what it does between governments. It's accurate though. It's a constant cycle.

You say Billy is “learning” from his mistakes yet it’s his fourth year as play caller and his offenses are getting worse and he absolutely sucks at it yet refuses to ever hire one.
He is a megalomaniac who wants to prove Dabo and Saban wrong for firing/not hiring him as OC.
He is not fit for running a major football program and would have failed at lsu or. Auburn or anywhere else with this approach

Civ I and Civ II I think were old 286 games and had lots of hacks. Like building railroads on ocean squares - lots of lightbulbs for research. Also setting up transports spread across great ocean expanses in a single turn. Using diplomats to scour the Poles for barbarians so they could be recruited for your army but have no city associated and no resource upkeep costs. Another favorite was stockpiling camels in a fortress on a mountain and watching them kill stacks of enemies on defense then dropping them in the same city on the same turn to build Wonders in 1 turn.
Playability was fast and easy but same could not be said for later versions.
Big 4 from Sid / Microprose were
Civilization
Colonization
Pirates
Railroad Tycoon

Nice. Loved that game and still have it on disc. Somehow my computer’s operating system is too “advanced” to be able to run a game that gobbles up 128 KB.
frick you, Microsoft.
ETA: That’s a hard frick I’m talking about, too.

That is why I am going to find some middle age nerd and buy / repair some old systems so I can have a 286 + 386 + 486 in the office when I want to play a game I actually like. Not a fan of internet games and nor first person shooters.
I want actual strategy and advanced skills.

Yeah, in the early versions you pretty much made every square a farm and railroad. And you could stack unlimited units on the same square. Fun times.
I think 4 or 5 was probably my favorite version. 7 doesn't sound good to me at all.
I don't think I played colonization or pirates that I can remember. But I've played every railroad tycoon game and basically all other versions of railroad games. I love them. My favorite is railroad tycoon 3, which I still play from time to time.
