What can I do to fix my phone

I know this is a tech board question, but I dont post there frequently, and you all know me better with my words.
I have a OG Pixel that literally just hit two years and is paid off now. I have been having issues with the battery crapping out at 30+ percent.
Wifes phone is coming up on two years as well Samsung Galaxy S-7 edge and its shitting out too.
Is this Verizon pissing me off so I have to get a new phone, or is there anything I can do?
For your help, no pics of wife

Post your phone number and I'll see what I can do.

I don't understand people who get all autistic about phones. PCs I would get but I don't care if my phone is an overpriced walled garden. I'm not doing serious work on it, I use it to do simple phone stuff and iphone does that reliably.

Honestly the best thing to do would be to replace the phone. Its not Verizon messing with you, the battery needs to be replaced. My Nexus 6P had a worn out battery and the official replacement parts were never sold to the public so I just financed a new Pixel 3 XL through the google store instead of buying a cheap knock off replacement battery. I also have Google Project Fi as my cell phone carrier so it made sense for me.
Phone batteries have a limited number of charging cycles before they just shite the bed. Ifixit rates your repair as 3 bars of difficulty.
Ifixit repair guide for Pixel
The kit for the repair is $32.00 but if you break it completely trying to fix it well then you're up shite creek with no phone.
Honestly your best move is to just get a new phone. Whether you do that on contract or off is up to you.

You could also see if theres a phone repair shop willing to do the battery swap in your area.

Recalibrate the battery meter. Should fix the problem.
If that doesn't work. Just get the battery swapped.

I actually imagine you as daddy long neck but I'm not going to post a picture here because then I'd have to look at it.
