Less than a block away from me and three blocks from White House
Guess the events in NY/NJ have people on edge. Probably just somebody's bagged lunch accidentally dropped or something.
UPDATE: Looks like it must have been nothing. Streets are opening back up, lockdown is over.

Not really a time to be fricking around with stuff like that, given recent events. I'm sure it will probably be fine and it's a false alarm, but stay safe.

I remembering being in D.C. during the anthrax scares back in October 2001. White powder was reportedly seen everywhere. Various places were shutdown for hours/days at a time.
