He will be used to it by the end of the season.

Pio said Bama lock, so it was inevitable.

I love upset games so much.

If Pio picked Bama in a lock, it was no upset, just inevitable.

Looked like there’s good potential happening. Let’s hope they keep the fire and momentum.

I went to more than I can remember. Lots of cute pictures of me and my dad. Great memories and one not so great one.

We don’t want this. I can only imagine his taste:

Spoiler alert! I DVR'd the game and haven't watched it yet.
Nah, when Diego Pavia (their QB) beat Auburn last season, I couldn't help but root for that kid. He reminds me of Johnny Manziel back when he was good — not the most talented, but he's a winner. Dude just balls out when the lights are on.
Then I saw he was going to Vandy along with Jerry Kill (their former HC) and looked up our schedule, and told a buddy of mine that we were fricked having to play them right after Georgia.
Can't say I thought it would go exactly like it did, but I legit figured it would be a struggle with both of them on that team.
On a positive note, I do have Pavia on my fantasy league roster. On a negative note, he was my top performer of the day (with a boost mutliplier).

How the hell Saban was able to keep guys locked in every week I'll never know and no one may ever know. 99% of all programs go through this losing and winning games you aren't supposed to. That was always going to be the most difficult part about replacing Saban IMO. DeBoer may turn out to be a fantastic coach (maybe he already is), but i just don't see anyone being able to duplicate that specific aspect of what Saban brought to the table.

I can't find the quote but Gene Stallings used to say that you could only get players up for a game so many times during a season, and as a coach it was up to you to figure out which times.
I personally think that and the ability to (successfully) coach each player individually according to the style that will most resonate with them is the "magic" that separates the good from the elite. Because both of those are really, really hard to do, especially when your roster essentially resets every year.
After researching him over the offseason, I really like DeBoer's concepts. I've never had a "players coach," so I don't know how the motivational part works in these situations.
IMO (so far) this is just a classic first-season coaching loss, like Saban and Louisiana Monroe. But we'll find out pretty quickly, I guess.
